The reader does not have to download images through a firewall or anti-virus before they can read your company name, message, offer, coupon, links to your web site, phone number or e-mail address because I write them in HTML code instead.
Many readers don’t know to download the images, don’t know how to download them or can’t be bothered to take the time.
